Last year the City of Brockton signed an Administrative Consent Order (ACO) with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The purpose of the ACO is to regulate and supervise Brockton's management of water from Monponsett Pond into Silver Lake.
A requirement of the ACO is that Brockton develop a Resource Management Plan (RMP) for Monponsett Pond. Brockton has published a draft RMP Scope of Work.
